Jamie's Studio was started in October 2001. Jamie Livingston needed an outlet from the stress of running a restaurant with her husband, and found that melting glass in the flame was just the ticket.
She has since expanded and started using her jewelry design education to build the line of jewelry you see today.
Jamie's handmade lampwork glass beads have been sold internationally, and her pieces showcased in national magazines. Though many designers have used her unique lampwork glass beads in their designs, Jamie has kept the beads in her jewelry line exclusive.
She has been designing jewelry for more than fourteen years, and her style has evolved to what it is today, without forgetting the basic design elements which got her here.
Her goal in designing jewelry is to create pieces with a classic elegance and enduring quality. Her inspirations have come from her journey through life, which she expresses in the motivational words and expressions wrapping the beads. Her jewelry designs are meant to be worn, seen, and go from day to night.
Though the journey hasn't always been easy, the bumps in the road are what gets us where we are. Who would we be today, without life's bumps and twists and turns?

About Jamie:
When Jamie isn't working in her studio she loves to read and knit. She is also an avid equestrian and currently has 2 horses on her 6 acre farm which she lives on with her husband. Together they have 2 cats, 2 dogs (see Gracie above) and 2 horses. Both Jamie and her husband are entrepreneurs.
She originally started designing jewelry when she still lived in California, and got hooked on beadmaking soon after. She now puts both crafts together along with inspiration to make her current jewelry line.
